Model House Film Review
The film begins with famous Bella’s fans taking a selfie with her. Unfortunately, she gets knocked down in a car accident and dies almost shortly after. Bella had been juggling so many things on her plate that her bosses had to hire Zoe as a substitute for her. On her very first day, Zoe seems to make an instant friend in Nadia, who is a former associate of Bella. What this means for Zoe is a chance to have a modeling career since she has been so Exhibit on her debut assignment. However, the storyline changes after she twists her ankle on the first day of the work.
At the moment, the models are housed in a warm, quiet, rural cottage, waiting for the end of the shoot. However, Zoe is a newcomer in the industry together with Sydney, Trudy, and Karla, and she is still a novice, having been in the profession for less than 2 years. She does not have a huge fan base and none of them is even endorsed by Instagram. Several of her co-models feel that Gender should be showcased more and in less clothing to increase the number of her followers.
Zoe is also in touch with a gentleman through Instagram, who keeps sending her weird NatGeo clips of female mantis munching on their male mates after copulation. Meanwhile, Nadia is convinced that the chap is fake and not genuine as he claims to be.
What are the goals of the intruders?
Matters take a dramatic turn when one of the models, Thomas and Annie, walks into an armed application-ridden house who order to steal from them. They order the models to surrender their mobiles or else be shot. All are hostages but Nadia manages to escape for a while only to be captured again with her former companions. Thomas and Annie do not need the valuables of the models; they want their audience. They aim to use the models’ social media accounts to establish a donation platform for a fake offshore account that is impossible to trace.
On the condition that they possessed an amount of up to a million dollars that was contributed by the fans of the models, they would free the models. Thomas and Annie also do not remain idle but wait for money to come in and set up a donation page after unlocking the models’ phones. They visualize what they would do with the millions that are about to come into their account but the models think about who was abducting them. The situation takes a disastrous twist when Annie mistakenly shoots Carla dead because she has been warning other followers of the hostage condition.
The intriguing couple, Thomas as well as Annie, take their sweet time and collect money ready to come home after one hour, with Thomas planning to leave with the money and Annie wanting him to stay. Trouble arises among them as Steven, Nadia’s former partner, arrives and takes Thomas captive while attempting to bargain for the release of the model. What is more unfortunate, Flip, who was the one who planned the attack, killed Steven before the models had any chance of escaping.
What occurs to the models & Zoe?
Screams and picking up the pieces follow immediately after Steven’s murder since Steven was shot in front of the models and intruders. Sydney Tryhus, one of the models, was present and witnessing the unpleasant situation and ended up getting an intruder’s identification. Annie being one of the intruders has no luck and gets shot as well by Nadia as they fight over the weapon. Zoe, Nadia as well as Trudy who were also witnesses begin to worry about their safety as their faces were observed by the kidnappers and they knew who they were. Flip’s partner as well as Thomas is reluctant but Annie and Flip are completely ruthless and will protect themselves at all costs, including killing more people.
When Thomas and Flip are busy with the cleaning and hiding of the corpses in the other room, the models manage to break loose and attempt to flee. They are aided by Flip, who shoots Sydney and Trudy before Nadia grabs Annie hostage and secures Thomas. Once again, Flip manages to take control and shoots two models in the head but suffers the loss of an eye in exchange. Zoe flees to another house near the area and alerts the authorities about what has occurred. As the film nears its conclusion, Zoe arrives back at the house.
As in the beginning, A maniac still tries to attack her, but this time, Zoe shoots Flip three times in the chest and he dies. Only one of the bunch, Thomas, claims to Zoe that he is a mere throwaway piece and that the real worlds are Annie and Flip. Also, Thomas explains to Zoe who it was, who was posting messages to her in impersonation under ‘A’.
Despite this information, Zoe doesn’t allow Thomas to be set free and very soon the entire site is engulfed with the cops. As the wist unfolds, it is shown that Annie is not dead and she gets away just when the cops are about to grab her.
