Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate Plot Summary Mega Mind. The chronicles take place after two days when Megamind defeats Titan and saves Metro city and earns a new title of the hero of that city. But by doing so, he is abandoning the very old crew that he had, but they later try to use the old evil designs of Megamind to try to destroy Metro City. This time around, however, he is outdone in resources and in addition to that, his closest pal, ol’ chum aka Minion, departs from him. At the same time, our main character’s ex-assistant, Chum, realizes the tough position of his former boss and helps him with battling the Doom Syndicate. Who is in the Doom syndicate? Before the events of this report, a character named Megamind has been defeated, however, beats all odds and emerges a successful hero, escaping his past of wickedness and stabbing his former shady partners in the back who remain as the founding members of the Doom syndicate. Alongside him, however, is an acute female weather controlling villain named Lady Doppler. Lord Nighty-Knight who has a look and voice over resembling Batman, specializes in darkness control. Pierre pressure is known for his magic abilities and is said to be one of the funniest of them all. Finally, there’s a character called Behemoth. He is a huge, lava-like creature that is somehow reminiscent of DC Clayface.

What unfolded between Megamind and Ol’ Chum?

The movie starts with Megamind looking towards the camera and giving a brief narration of his history as the other characters are settling down in the movie’s world. With the only defender of the city Metro Man gone on a break, Megamind takes this opportunity to establish dominance, but grows quickly as he has no real game.

To entertain himself, he makes Titan, whom he self-dubs, ”Titan of Evil.” But his creation becomes his most terrible creation and threatens the city. Megamind, with his trusty sidekick the Minions (Ol’ Chum) defeats Titan and rescues Metro City.

Only a couple of days after his final confrontation with Titan, Megamind seems to be in a clash with the Go-Fish gang. After a fierce pulling of the rope game, Megamind and Ol’ Chum manage to stop the gang from getting away with a great prize fish. Against all odds, Ol’ Chum always seems to be completely overshadowed for the courageous acts he does. So, he had to split with Megamind for a new man to work for.

Who leads the dominion of the Doom Syndicate?

The evil entity known as the Doom Syndicate is coordinated by a certain Gigantic cranium “Meganmind”, and other members like Lady Doppler, Nighty Knight, and even Behemoth. Their mission is to control the entire Metro City. But when Megamind escapes from detention, he does not leave behind a prominent figure. In the meantime, all the members of the Syndicate think that all of them are in charge, but in truth, none of them lead.

As for Megamind himself, he is a character that lives for being the best in everything, whether that’s for villainy deeds or for heroistic actions. He’s rather indifferent towards his fellow teammates of the past and does not respect them. He is the first to raise the subject of leadership but quite shamefully evades it and keeps everyone else waiting for an answer.

What Is A Phase Two Plan?

After the prison liberation, the distinct ogres of Doom Syndicate plunge directly to the secret place of their brother, Megamind. The ogres can’t wait to hail their leader for being a master at making the city’s residents see him as some heroic character.

As Roxanne Ritchie is piecing up everything, she asks Megamind what the next move is, to which he lies stating he’s aiming for Metro City to be ‘Among the Stars’. Undergoing the city, Megamind has plans to construct missiles that would contain colossal destructive power and the city would be launched into the sky. That’s what the Phase Two plan is all about.

Why is it that Megamind has the Syndicate of Doom against himself?

At this point, Megamind has been able to capture every member of the Doom Syndicate using a Porta-Prision device, however, he is not happy with the way their fates have turned out. But then, his plans hit a snag and he can see that the technology he is trying to lean on has a time limit.

With the failure of Porta-Prision, all subordinate members of Doom Syndicate beat Megamind and vice versa. In this ‘gained’ state, Lady Doppler contended that she did indeed kill Megamind and that Metro City should now be theirs. The Doom Syndicate make haste to put Phase Two of Megamind’s master plan in action.

What is Megamind’s method of defeating the Doom Syndicate?

After finding out Megamind’s secret, the Doom Syndicate becomes berserk to finish Megamind for good this time. Megamind clutches on to his flying chair and makes a run for it hoping to save himself, only for Lady Doppler to try and finish him off after she flies into the air with powers of her own.

With what seems an all over loss for Megamind, Lady Doppler gets ready to implement the second phase upon the city. But despite knowing he has lost for now, Megamind has a change of heart. He goes back to his old friend and seeks help in eliminating the remaining threat the Doom Syndicate posed.

Just as Ol’ Chum stealthily crawls into the air vent, the sirens begin blaring, but due to the traps’ quick wit and timely planning, he avoids almost every single one. On the other hand, Megamind and his volatile sphere of influence, the Doom Syndicate, engage in active combat, with tennis balls as Megamind’s preferred armament. Megamind has no doubts that his intellect possessing fish comrade will sort the mess.

Without knowing this, Megamind, the Fish-Gang was also lurking in the launching station. O’ Cuttaboat is ready to face the Fish-Gang after making it past all the defences. In the end, she was able to push the button, however, that swivelled Metro City to the center of the Earth, at a very high speed. Megamind is now crying bitterly asking Ol’ Chum to do something. Unsurprisingly, Ol’ Chum is far away in the desert without a suit and therefore, without water.

Later, Megamind gives the go ahead to execute Operation Parakeet with Polly 227. Emerging from the waters, Polly 227 seeks out Ol’ Chum and rescues him from death. They rescue Chum, and Metropolis equally. And as for the Doom Syndicate they are also seized and imprisoned.

While part of this prison, their ultra strong prison sentence does not last long due to a super villain called Machiavellian, who we see has broken them out. It does seem that the next Megamind movie is going to have a great villain, that’s great for the franchise.
