Lisa Frankenstein Plot Conclusion

Lisa Frankenstein seems to be a horror-comedy but quite interestingly, is the directorial debut of Zelda Williams. The movie has a who’s who cast that includes Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Carla Gugino, and Liza Soberano who all happen to create havoc in a quiet town set in the 1980s.

Lisa is the black sheep of the family, an eccentric girl who daydreams about a school hunk until her mother is murdered, resulting in a less-than-pleasant stepmother named Janet and a more confident and popular half-sibling, Taffy. Taffy makes an effort to reach out to Lisa, who would rather dig up a cold corpse of a handsome guy rather than hang out with her and her friends.

Once, when she decides to step out of her comfort zone and attend a house party, it ends poorly and leaves her wishing the handsome corpse came to life during a horrific thunderstorm. Whatever happened to Lisa goes without saying, more drama ensues the minute she came face to face with a Victorian zombie, who was a blithering mess helping not a single thing.

Why does the Creature go to Lisa?

After all, she wished she were with him, she meant she wanted to join him and lay buried in the ground. He misconstrues it in the sense that she is attracted to him. So when the motion light turns on green, she makes a wish and he awakens. At first, she does not see him as a potential love interest. Since she has no friends in the area, she plays the role of the Creature’s lonely companion, and surrounds herself with him, speaking to him, pouring her hate on him, and simply spending time with him.

How does Lisa manage to kill the Creature?

Simply, she does not concern herself with the killing of Janet and Doug first, however, she does get irritated with the fact that the Creature has to kill anyone else after that, and when he murders the old man, she gets angered. With the police getting closer to her, she gets anxious, and thinks that she is going to be caught.

Such things could be controlled, but he goes and cuts off Michael’s penis and then proceeds to try to kill Taffy. Believing that he has some kind of killer instinct, she goes after him to take his life. But she begins to understand that she is in love with him and all that he has done isn’t antagonistic, he is just in love with her too.

Does Lisa exist or is she a figment of imagination?

Once Lisa comprehends that the police will apprehend her, she pretends to die but dies herself. She commits suicide in the tanning booth. The entire house catches fire while no one else is there, which leaves everyone in the impression that Lisa has died.

However, the Creature probably resurrects Lisa in the same tanner bed which has now acquired a significant importance as it brought him to life and could similarly assist him in fusing body parts. When Taffy goes to Lisa’s tomb, she sees the words “beloved wife” and looks puzzled about what these are but most likely doesn’t know that Lisa is alive. In the last scene, a zombie Lisa is seen trying to recuperate herself from burned skin whilst the Creature is reading to her.

Is the Creature human?

The Creature certainly starts to behave less like a monster the more time he spends above the ground. He too begins to gather more and more human parts to fill out his physique’s incompleteness. When he receives a hand, his motor skills are further improved allowing him to be able to walk straight and even ballet. In the end, once all his missing human parts are completed, he regains all color in the skin’s flesh and can even speak.
