Road House Synopsis
Tokens of his life in the UFC cage slowly fade away through distant recollections for a man called Dalton, who is approached by a woman named Frankie. Frankie has plans to start a bar in the Florida Keys but it has to be cleaned first due to a multitude of slaughter-related issues. Dalton agrees to the proposition and shows up in the Florida Keys. He discovers that the Rd. House is also surrounded by a gang of psychopathic bikers and a gang lord-turned-businessman Brandt, who is planning expansion into Rd. House. This makes Dalton realize that there are more enemies out there and to rescue this area from excessive corruption, he has to fight a man named Knox, who is an extremely violent fighter.
What happens after the brawl at the Road House?
Their clash leaves Dalton utterly defeated as Knox manages to cause quite an injury to him. This injury forces him on a runaway mission, a mission to get as far away from this city as he can. However, on his escape from the keys, a bookstore run by a C. Whiskey is seen burning down, which ignites a fire of rage inside of him as he begins to plan the murder of Brandt. He strangles Brandt’s top man Vince and takes the g.d. money, however, Brandt has anticipated all of this and is one step ahead. Not only does he have plans for revenge, but most importantly, he has Dalton’s love, Ellie.
Ellie’s father, a rogue sheriff, is looking for help from Dalton to find Ellie. They make their way to Brandt’s posh yacht but Dalton is unwilling to relinquish the embezzled funds. Dalton explodes the boat instead and they engage in a battle.
But what is in store back in the Road House?
In his boat, Brandt leaves for the Road House planning to wreck it. However, Dalton too heads to where Brandt is and the two engage in a struggle. But Knox arrives at the scene first and brutally beats down Dalton; he uses a piece of wood that is sharp to stab him with it! Brandt shouts at Knox to kill him but Knox instead shoots Brandt. When Knox reaches Dalton, he tries to kill him but Dalton stabs him repeatedly.
What happens at the end of Road House?
Then the sheriff comes in and tells Dalton that he needs to get out of town and that he will take the fall for him. Meanwhile, Frankie assesses the state of the Road House and its surroundings as well as begins the required cleanup.
Back at her home, Charlie is helping her dad cope with the trauma of the bookstore’s arson when she notices Dalton preparing to board a Greyhound bus. He hugs her and exits the town. While leaving, Charle’s father notices a bag containing money that Dalton has left at the bookstore.
The final seconds of the film show Knox, who is still alive and in the hospital, rejecting treatment and creating a scene. This takes place towards the end of the film when he walks out of the hospital in a large hospital gown.
