Bosco Plot Summary
This month, the new title on Peacock TV is Bosco. It is based on the life of Quawntay “Bosco” Adams. A marijuana enthusiast who was incarcerated for possession of marijuana. But upon witnessing that his daughter was about to be born, he creates a plan to escape and provide his child with the specialty that he lacked growing up.
What is Bosco trying to say about the prison system?
Bosco may be short on the financial budget as well as the total number of set pieces in the film, but it asserts a lot regarding the circumstances of the prison system, where it was often the case that black men would receive more jail time than white men for the same offense. For possession of marijuana, Bosco is handed 35 years. Wow, such jail times have not been issued for quite some time in the US.

It has been his intention since day one to escape the confines of prison to be by his baby mama’s side on the day she gives birth to his daughter. He wants to go about it elaborately. His desire led him to look for an air duct and crawl out of a vent located on the side of the building. But that is not all that he does when he puts his plan into use. He has helped with this.
Who is Tootie in the film?
Tootie happens to be blissfully in love with his son, played by Tyrese Gibson, whom we first see as a baby in the opening scenes of the film. Tootie is a gang leader of Crips that resides in Los Angeles. He has the sort of manners of speech one expects from a head gang.
He’s rough and unyielding, and problems to him have only one resolution. There are a few flashbacks scattered through the movie and at times, he features in them. He takes Bosco to a drug deal; undercover cops intervene in their dirty work, and the two subsequently spend some time behind bars.
Who is Tammy and why does she help Bosco?
Tammy is one interesting character in the movie who starts with an ad seeking love placed in a Lonely Hearts column. When Boise contacts the number on the adds that Tammy has placed, it is her behind the call. After a round of phone call exchange, Tammy goes to visit him in prison. However, these expectations are sorely mistaken when they are met.
Still, they talk and hit it off, and Tammy says she will assist him when he breaks free but does not say what is in it for her. After he escapes, she waits for him in the parking lot in a truck. It is never stated whether Bosco loves her or he is just taking advantage of her.
Why does Bosco surrender to the law?
Bosco, such as he is, understands something once he is outside: It’s foolish of him to forcefully leave the prison, regardless of how snared the sentence is. When they are in a shabby motel, they both try to figure out their future, and it is here that he makes up his mind to go back to the clutches of the law.
He asks her to return home and inform the authorities regarding his location. Indeed, Bosco understands that as a fugitive of the law, he only serves to endanger those that he cares for the most. The end shows him on a bed with a shot focusing on his face as he responds to the narration of his voiceover. He is surrounded by police and they take him away.
In the end, there is an epilogue that indicates that Bosco, in the real world, has completed his prison term and actively participates in community service, and is profoundly involved in his daughter’s life.
